We are the Valiant Heroes of the North

We can’t leave our fate up to others. We can’t wait for someone to fix our problems for us. If we want to protect our communities and the families that live within them, we must take charge and it starts with us first.

 

For too many years, we’ve been witnessing the degradation of our communities due to many issues including gang violence, drug trafficking, domestic abuse, trafficking of minors and more. Sure there are socio-economic factors at play. But if we start taking interest in the safety of our community, family, siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews, if we all took moments a day to look to our left and right to observe and see if our neighbors are okay, we would start, from the roots, a movement that would help protect and grow our communities from the inside. Thus ensuring we pull our youth away from the negative path and guide them onto the right ones. Prevention is a huge part of the cure.
